Our Mission
The Mission of the Chess Emporium is to provide a one-stop environment for everything chess. Besides our weekly tournaments, we offer a full line of chess related items: shirts, clocks, books, videos, software, sets, boards and more. Our chess item catalog is included in this site for your convenience. The Chess Emporium Scholastic Program offers youngsters from Kindergarten through 8th grade a chance to learn about chess. We teach beginners to advanced players. Many of our students have gone on to rank in the top 50 nationally!
Company Profile
The Chess Emporium was founded in 1993 in Phoenix, Arizona Since that time, our store has grown into one of the premier chess tournament hosts in the country. The Chess Emporium actively encourages the youth of the Phoenix area to play chess as well. Each semester, we teach in over 100 different after/before school programs! We offer many tournaments each semester for your child to practice what he/she has learned so far in chess. These tournaments are rated. This encourages a child to do his/her best.
